KMG Records is a label that was established in 1997 as a division of the Killen Music Group (Nashville, TN). A few artists were developed in the Contemporary Christian Music field, but the failure of its distributor cut short the life of the 1998-2001 releases. In addition to its own portfolio of artists, Killen Music Group acquired the assets of Frontline Records in 1998, a catalog of classic alternative Christian music artists. In 2010, Meis Music Group purchased the KMG catalog and released it digitally for the first time.
