Alcott is a 23 year old rapper from Nashville, Tennessee. He became enamored with Hip-Hop around age 10 and began to study every style the genre has to offer. He discovered his own talent for rapping in high school while joking around with friends. Alcott then decided to seriously pursue it upon reaching college. During the pandemic, he garnered a bit of attention through entering various rap challenges. Most notably, he was chosen as one of two winners for Lacrae’s Set Me Free Remix Challenge. Alcott credits Lecrae, Royce da 5’9″, Logic and Andy Mineo as some of his biggest influences. “Beggars Can’t Be Choosers” is a song about where artists get their inspiration. “Always heard that beggars can’t be choosers, but you should keep it extra picky what your muse is,” says Alcott. This young rapper focuses on knowing that God is the ultimate creative. He deserves all the credit. This is a song about not losing sight of that reality.
