Kristy Cox Wins 4th Golden Guitar Award

Bluegrass superstar and Mountain Fever Records artist Kristy Cox received her fourth Golden Guitar award at Sunday’s Toyota Golden Guitar Awards Show in Tamworth, Australia. The Australian-born songstress has once again delighted listeners with her music, securing the Bluegrass Recording of the Year award for “Yesterday’s Heartache!”

The Country Music Awards of Australia (CMAA), also known as the Golden Guitar Awards, is an annual awards night held each January during the Tamworth Country Music Festival in Tamworth, New South Wales. Formerly known as the Australian Country Music Awards, the event celebrates recording excellence in the Australian country music industry.

Cox’s brand new full-length album—featuring “Yesterday’s Heartache”—is titled No Headlights and is slated for a Feb. 28, 2020 release.
