If your music is on Pandora, claiming your Pandora AMP account should be one of your next steps.
Pandora AMP, short for Artist Marketing Platform, is Pandora’s free suite of tools for artists and their teams. It gives you access to listener data, artist-profile tools and free promotional features built directly into Pandora.
Claiming your profile is fairly simple. The important part is making sure your music gets to Pandora first.
Step 1: Make sure your music is on Pandora
You cannot claim an artist profile that does not exist yet.
Your music distributor is the company that delivers your official recordings and release information to digital services such as Pandora, Spotify and Apple Music.
Make sure your distributor delivered the release to Pandora and that the music is publicly available there.
If Syntax Creative distributes your music, Pandora is part of our distribution network.
Step 2: Sign in to Pandora AMP
Go to Pandora AMP and sign in.
If you already have a Pandora listener account, you can use your Pandora account information to access AMP. Otherwise, create an account first.
Step 3: Find and claim the artist profile
Once you are signed in, start Pandora’s artist-claim process.
Search for the artist you represent and select the correct profile.
This sounds obvious, but double-check before submitting the claim. Artists with similar or identical names can sometimes have separate profiles on Pandora.
Step 4: Complete the verification information
Pandora will ask for information to verify your relationship to the artist.
AMP access is available to artists and the label and management teams that work directly with them.
Provide accurate information and complete the claim request.
Step 5: Wait for Pandora to approve the claim
Pandora reviews the request before giving you access to the artist profile.
Once Pandora verifies the claim, you can begin using AMP’s artist tools.
If a claim remains pending or you run into a problem, Pandora’s Creator Support team can help with AMP access.
Step 6: Give your team their own access
Do not pass one password around the artist’s team.
AMP includes Team Management, which lets an account owner invite other people and control what they can do.
Pandora currently offers three team roles:
- Owners can use marketing tools, view Artist Insights and manage team access.
- Publishers can view Artist Insights and publish marketing content.
- Members have read-only access to Artist Insights and marketing features.
Choose the access each person actually needs.

Claiming the account is only the beginning.
AMP gives artists and their teams several ways to understand and work their music on Pandora.
Artist Insights
Artist Insights gives you data about how your music performs and who is listening.
You can use that information to identify patterns in your audience and catalog instead of relying entirely on guesses.
Fan Campaigns
Pandora refreshed its promotional tools in 2026 under Fan Campaigns.
Those tools currently include Artist Audio Messages, Featured Tracks, Promote Single and Promote Show.
Pandora Artist Audio Messages let the artist record short messages that play for listeners.
Pandora Featured Tracks can give eligible songs additional exposure within Pandora Radio at no campaign cost.
Meanwhile, Promote Show can help artists reach Pandora listeners around upcoming live dates.
Artist profile management
AMP also gives authorized teams tools for managing information connected to the artist profile, including the artist biography and profile image.
Keep those pieces current. Someone discovering the artist on Pandora should not find a biography that still describes an album from six years ago as “upcoming.”
Curator Tools
Artists with AMP access can also apply for Pandora’s Curator Tools.
Those tools allow creators to build Pandora Stories, which combine playlists with recorded commentary for a more guided listening experience.
Claiming AMP can also help unlock Pandora Radio
There is an important difference between having music available on Pandora and having that music play within Pandora Radio.
After an AMP claim is approved, Pandora says its Creator Support team helps ensure the artist’s music goes through analysis by the Music Genome Project, Pandora’s system for describing musical characteristics and matching songs with other music.
Pandora can analyze hundreds of musical attributes in a track before using that information to help place the music within its radio experience.
Once that process is complete, listeners can potentially start stations from the artist or tracks, and Pandora can match the music with related songs on other stations.
Do not leave the free tools sitting there
Getting music delivered is only one part of distribution.
If Pandora gives you free tools to understand listeners, promote songs, talk directly to fans and support live shows, use them.
Claim the profile. Give the right people access. Keep the artist information current. Then look through AMP and see which tools fit what you are already trying to accomplish.
The account is free.
Leaving it unclaimed does not save you anything.
