Crossroads Music partnered with Singing News Magazine on the publication’s 2020 Songwriting Competition to find a song for 11th Hour to record. “He Proves Me Wrong,” written by Deanna Faith York, was the winner out of hundreds of entries.

11th Hour’s Jaquita Lindsey, who sings lead on this song, said of “He Proves Me Wrong Again:” “I remember listening through songs that Singing News had sent me for the songwriters competition when I came across this one. We’ve all had a year of trials where we’ve had to put our faith to work. I knew the lyrics of this song would be words that so many could relate to. I’m so thankful that God never fails to prove us wrong with His presence in each situation that life brings us.”
