BONFIRE MUSIC GROUP FEAT. DENNIS PARKER & TONY WRAY
“Old Man” (Acoustic Tribute)
DESCRIPTION:
Originally written and recorded by Neil Young on his 1972 album Harvest, Bonfire Music Group‘s Dennis Parker & Tony Wray offer up this remake of “Old Man” as a more acoustic-style homage. Not a very far departure, however, as Young’s original also included six-string banjo played by none other than James Taylor (with added vocals by Linda Ronstadt). Parker & Wray’s version slips-in a little more twang at times, but still expertly captures the eerie ambiance heard (and felt) from the original.
