BONFIRE MUSIC GROUP FEAT. MARTY RAYBON, TONY WRAY & DENNIS PARKER
“Millworker”
DESCRIPTION:
Originally written & recorded by James Taylor & feat. in the Broadway musical Working, “Millworker” is a song about a young woman in the 1800s forced to work in a textile mill after her drunkard husband died and left her alone to raise 3 children. At the heart of the song, the protagonist daydreams of simpler, happier times—country/acoustic music legend Marty Rayon with Dennis Parker & Tony Wray remake this classic with a folksy, more grassy twist, all while respectfully paying homage to Taylor.
