Brightwork is a Mid-Atlantic based Christian band that started in the early 2010s off the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Front-man, Caleb Carpenter, and company would eventually hit their stride as they connected with Riley Friesen (Family Force 5, Building 429, Hannah Kerr) for their sophomore release, the “Loving Rescue EP”, and continue in the years to follow by adding Dustin Burnett (Rush of Fools, Abandon Kansas, Newsboys) into the mix to help finish their first full-length album, “Hope For Love”. “We’ve only ever wanted to point people to Jesus with our music, “states Carpenter. “This life is a journey full of ups and downs, and folks need to know the hope, purpose, and peace that only He can offer. We aim to simply create great “art” that attempts to properly illustrate the goodness of his word and who he is”. 2025 is gearing up to be a breath of fresh air as the band hops back into action after a several-year hiatus.
