“Moondancer” draws inspiration from the mountains. It’s a spirited story from her native western North Carolina mountains and their Cherokee heritage. A mysterious vibe surrounds the listener as a bittersweet tale unfolds around a magical horse and a girl. They are kindred spirits and better left untamed. Earlier this year the song won the Hazel Dickens Song Contest.
