DAX HAMMA & C4 CROTONA
Though The Scars Remain
DESCRIPTION:
The projects focus track, “I Said What I Said,” featuring Datin from God Over Money, discusses the division caused by call-out culture within the Christian community. While recognizing that rebuking has its place, the track challenges believers to prioritize grace and unity. It’s a bold reminder to refocus on building up rather than tearing down.
Inspired by the hip-hop legends Big Pun and Eminem, C4 became a battle rapper and developed his talent in New Jersey while he garnered thousands of views on YouTube and WorldStarHipHop. His sheer ferocity and aggressive demeanor resonated with listeners and competitions alike, and he was never one to shy away from the more negative themes in life. This all changed however when C4 lost his mother to murder in 2016. He shifted his focus away from the violence and negativity to honor her, now writing compelling verses with a Gospel influence and a message of hope.
