“Emma” is about a woman the band knows whose husband committed suicide, and how terrible it was for the family. It talks about the trials that people go through and how to cope with the loss and grieving. The song is an emotional anthem. The music drops out and a passionate “And I scream out to God, are you listening?” rings out over the muted music.
