When Kaboose wrote this song about the attributes of parenting, he said, “It was like making paper airplanes with my sons. Bending and folding the wings is a lot like teaching our kids as they learn and grow—like test-flights and making adjustments along the way. Then, as we help them find their own wings to fly, as parents we have to let go and trust that they are ready to soar. It’s a blessing to be a part of these stages—it’s hard to let go, but important to instill that we’re always there.”
