LONESOME RIVER BAND
“I’m on to You”
DESCRIPTION:
“I’m On To You” is a song written by Sammy Shelor’s (banjoist for LBR) friend Jimmy Yeary, who has become one of the most in-demand writers in Nashville. The song was recorded back in 1997 and was the first song Jimmy had featured on an album. The album is long out of print, but this song kept making its way into sound checks and shows every now and then. It has that 80s Country vibe that the band felt would lend itself to the sound they are leaning towards for this upcoming album.
