Syntax Creative Adds Four New Record Labels to Its Roster
DESCRIPTION:
At just 16 years old, Luke Powell displays a mature narrative voice on “Make Up Lies,” a country-Americana track exploring the gray area between heartbreak and reconciliation. Opening with rain on a tin roof, the song captures an internal battle between head and heart. Driven by the hook, “My head and my heart won’t make up lies,” Powell bypasses typical breakup anger to deliver a truth: two people can genuinely care for each other and still admit that caring isn’t enough.
