Quiet Bear’s newest is the soundtrack to our wrestling with, “What we don’t want to do.” It opens pairing an ethereal female voice (Legend Ozora) in contrast to the familiar grain of Anthony Hoisington’s vocals. Collectively, the dislocation of a wayward spiritual journey is presented in simple, raw admission. “I don’t know how,” works like a pulley to pull heaviness from our hearts. God breathes, speaks (enter: saxophone). His presence demands our silence and the room for error is “razor thin.”
