DESCRIPTION:
Sammy Listoe’s “80 Proof Truth” lives in the moment when neon lights and tequila turn a bad decision into a ‘good idea.’ Driven by country-rock guitars, the track captures the relentless pull of an ex you only miss after one too many. Anchored by a massive chorus, it highlights the tension between sober logic and late-night temptation. The single was mixed by Jim Cooley and mastered by Andrew Mendelson (Luke Combs, Ella Langley).
Sammy Listoe is a Montana-raised country artist based in Oceanside, California, who has been writing and touring since 2013.
