In Bluegrass, there is nothing like a good breakup song. The band was hunting for an uptempo number that they could truly make their own. Co-producer Ken Irwin (founder of Rounder Records) suggested “Heartbreak Express.” They added their own touch to a previous version and put together a fresh arrangement that still complements the original.

- Seth Mulder, who plays mandolin and sings lead, is joined by Colton Powers on banjo, Max Silverstein on fiddle, Chevy Watson on guitar, and Tyler Griffith on bass.
