DESCRIPTION:

In 2019, The Kingdom Heirs, Crossroads Music and the Singing News Magazine teamed up for the publication’s songwriting competition. Arthur Rice of the group and five other industry leaders judged hundreds of submissions to find a song The Kingdom Heirs would record. “Tell Me Again” rose to the top as a message and style that the group felt they could deliver well. This song takes listeners back to a simpler time, illustrating an old church with a few rows of wooden pews and an altar where lives would be changed.

Crossroads’ executive Jim Stover says, “This song’s strength is in the greatness of the truth of the message it conveys. The connecting point for the audience it would attract is that there are many Christians who don’t feel worthy of salvation. We know who we are and what we’ve done. This song is another approach to ‘Yes Jesus loves me, yes Jesus loves me, yes Jesus loves me…the Bible tells me so.’”

The song was written by contest winner Bob Sammons. This is The Kingdom Heirs’ third single release following their album, Everything In Between, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts in Sep. 2019.
