DESCRIPTION:

“Little Trouble” started life by borrowing part of the melody from the traditional song “Little Birdy,” and then some of the lyrics were reimagined. They were updated to deal with modern concerns. Things like urban vs rural communities, the use of social media and manufactured moral panics. We have a culture held together through pharmacology. There’s a growing divide between Right and Left that is making enemies out of neighbors.

KEY SELLING POINTS

  • A good-time, old-time hillbilly band from the tiny community of Kirkwood Hollow, MN outside of Minneapolis.
  • Husband and wife duo of Quillan Roe (Accident Clearinghouse) and Kim Roe (Best Female Vocalist, City Pages/Village Voice).
  • Marries old-time sounds from barn-dances, fiddle pulls, and county fairs with the rock & roll passion of youth.
