Heartbreak Hero was written during a time of transition in Trevor Toms’ life, capturing a snapshot of grief, reflection, and eventual acceptance. “Empty Vessels” tells the story of two uncannily similar relationships. Years after a love out West fell apart, Toms moved to Nashville and fell in love with the actress hired for his first music video. Releasing the track proved cathartic, wrapping up both chapters and bringing vital lessons about his choices.

Nashville-based alt-country artist Trevor Toms delivers a distinct sound with traditional Americana storytelling. He is currently touring in support of his upcoming album, Heartbreak Hero.
