“Georgia In Her Eyes” paints an evocative portrait of a woman who dreams of the Appalachians. It’s a deeply personal song written by bassist and lead singer Sav Sankaran. He penned it in a fit of inspiration not long after meeting the woman who is now his wife. This tale of a lover whose voice “sings the songs of the hollers and the fields,” is irresistibly good.
