With their first new music since before the COVID pandemic, Imlay City, MI’s CCM/worship collective WE ARE ONE drops their first bomb of ’22 in single, “Future.” Going back to their roots with more of a pop/rock sound (vs. the string of remixes from the last several months), if “Future” is indicative of the band’s forward motion this trajectory should prove positive for them. “Future” incorporates an uplifting message, but the highlights here are the performances and production perfections.
