Jesus, the most impactful individual in the history of the world, was known for being gentle and lowly, meek and mild. Weston loves Paul Simon’s album Graceland and wanted to bring some of that “world rhythm” energy to this track. Eric Andersen built the rhythm, Chris built up the harmonies, and Adam Stein’s saxophone brought the liftoff.

Weston Skaggs is a singer-songwriter and worship leader known for his heartfelt, folk-inspired music. His sound reflects both personal faith and the broader human experience of relationships. His voice resonates with honesty, warmth, and vulnerability. Having previously only released original songs, Weston’s upcoming album features familiar hymns.
