“Everybody knows that ‘Sennheiser’ is a name that means quality,” says Tim Surrett. “We’re proud to be a part of the Sennheiser family and we’re especially happy with the amazing sound.”

Balsam Range recently hit the stage at the Zac Brown Band’s Southern Ground Festival in Charleston, SC and Sennheiser mics stood the test of the outdoor festival which reportedly drew more than 23,000 fans. Balsam Range was among a list of performers that included the Zac Brown Band, John Mayer, Gregg Allman, Darius Rucker, Grace Potter, Michael Franti, The Wailers, Charlie Daniels Band and The Avett Brothers.

“Our first gig with the new mics was a big one,” said Darren Nicholson, “and so far, they sound great.”

Balsam Range was joined onstage at the Southern Ground Festival by John Driskell Hopkins, founding member of the Zac Brown Band. Together, Hopkins and Balsam Range recorded the album Daylight featuring Hopkins’ original music. The band also thrilled the massive crowd with selections from Papertown.
