May 17, 2021
Mountain Fever Records announces that Mason Via (pronounced VIGH) has signed on for a bluegrass album deal with the label. Via, known for his exceeding talent in flatpicking, singing, and songwriting at the age of 23, already has a career path well underway for solid success with his music.
“It’s been a big year for Mason Via and the excitement is feeling contagious,” says Mountain Fever Music Group president Mark Hodges. After his experience making it to the top 40 on American Idol (click “play” above to see a clip), he was invited to join in the spotlight with renowned veterans Old Crow Medicine Show. Just last week his music goals continued with signing an independent record deal for his original recorded songs and making his debut appearance with Old Crow on The Opry. Mason is truly feeling the love that his musical passion has generated.
Hodges adds, “Needless to say, we are glad to help facilitate in bringing some of Mason’s music career dreams to life. He’s focused and talented and that’s a good start!”
Be on the look out for new music from Mason Via’s upcoming solo project with Mountain Fever Records in the coming weeks.
