Mountain Fever Signs Magnolia Drive

January 28, 2021

Mountain Fever Records announces the signing of Magnolia Drive. Magnolia Drive is known for a sound blending traditional bluegrass with contemporary bluegrass and gospel all topped with strong musicianship and resounding vocal harmonies. Forming in 2010, in their home state of Mississippi, members Don Robinson plays banjo and guitar, Steve “Speed” Nowell plays bass, Mike Nowell plays guitar, and Cory Burton the mandolin. They all contribute vocally and enjoy their music and life, on and off the stage, they envision remaining together as a band for the long haul.

In the weeks leading up to this announcement, Mountain Fever reported that the band were true gentlemen to work with, as well as demonstrating talent and passion. Label president, Mark Hodges said, “In less than a week, two prominent members in the bluegrass community reached out to me independently and suggested I have a listen to Magnolia Drive. Listening was like hearing the Country Gentlemen or The Lost and Found stepping out on stage again. With their great harmonies and superb original songs, they form a unique sound that’s easy to get behind.”

Mountain Fever expects to release their first single sometime in late March 2021.
