The music world mourns the loss of Steve Gulley

Syntax Creative joins the entire family at Mountain Home Music Company—along with the music world, industry & fans—in mourning the loss of a friend and colleague, Steve Gulley. Mountain Home, and many, further extend their deepest condolences to Debbie Gulley and the rest of the family.
The Mountain Home family adds: Steve’s unique voice could be heard on some of our earliest recordings from the early 1990s, and when he and Tim Stafford brought their recently-completed duo project to us earlier this year, it felt like a genuine homecoming.
A follower of Christ, whose deep faith, humble heart and outgoing personality made him a friend to all, he exemplified true generosity of spirit in these increasingly rancorous times.
Today, there is a hole at the center of humankind, left by the passing of this kind human — one that can be healed only when we come together in the mighty task of, to use his words, patching it up. Steve Gulley, rest in peace.
