Pinecastle Partners with The Bluegrass Jamboree to Offer Entrants Four Different Ways to Enter

Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road are celebrating their smash hit, “Bill Monroe’s Ol’ Mandolin” becoming the NUMBER ONE song for all of 2020 in Bluegrass Unlimited. The recording spent a total of three months in the top spot last year as well, becoming the band’s fourth-ever single to reign on top of the National Bluegrass Survey. In honor of the recognition, Pinecastle Records is giving away a mandolin to one lucky winner.

Contest details | Fans can enter to win the LOAR LM-310F Mandolin multiple ways. Each entrant has four different methods of participating. One lucky winner will be able to show their Bluegrass spirit by being declared the winner once the competition ends on February 13, 2021. The winner will be announced during Mountain Bluegrass with David Pugh on February 14, 2021.

The biography of Bill Monroe‘s Loar-built Gibson mandolin is as colorful as the music he created. In its travels, it was sat on, ran over, dropped, smashed, and even run through with a fire poker, but remains one of the most valuable instruments in history. The Loar LM310F giveaway is Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road’s way of giving back to the fans who have helped make Bill Monroe’s Ol’ Mandolin a top album, while honoring the master himself. As Vince Gill once said, “That’s the beauty of this mandolin…it’s the Holy Grail.”
