Syntax Creative Clients Take 45 Nominations for the 35th Annual IBMA Awards
DESCRIPTION:
“Uncommon Man” is about putting family first. Mike Mitchell recalls having a discussion late one night at the Hit House in Nashville and talking about old friends. The conversation steered its way to the topic of a friend who put off a performing career to raise a family first. That friend was Greg Blake. “In this business, filled with broken homes and lonely, divorced musicians, Greg’s story, similar to my own, is inspirational. I am thrilled to have Greg singing the harmony part with me on this cut,” says Mitchell.
