DESCRIPTION:
“Turning Acres Into Rows” celebrates David Parmley’s father, Don Parmley, and his final years on the farm in Kentucky. He remembers buying a tractor his dad kept in the garage and how spending the day on it was one of his favorite memories—he’s certain his father would have appreciated this song. David Parmley began his career at just 15 and went on to become the voice of the legendary Bluegrass Cardinals, recording 18 albums over 25 years. Parmley was inducted into the IBMA Hall of Fame in 2025.
