Written by Mary Rachel Norris, “Declaration of Independence” is the first time The Kody Norris Show has included an instrumental on an album. The band spontaneously titled the piece during a Fourth of July performance in Centre Hall in 2023. Though it wasn’t originally written with the project in mind, the precision-driven track fits seamlessly into their upcoming America250-themed album.
