GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Tom Paxton’s creative visions have echoed in bluegrass studios, on bluegrass stages and in bluegrass jam sessions for generations. Bluegrass Sings Paxton pays tribute to this long legacy. For the first release in the collection, Claire Lynch takes on “I Give You the Morning,” an old-fashioned romantic ballad. The 3X IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year is backed by a band that includes award-winning instrumentalists banjo player Kristin Scott Benson and fiddler Deanie Richardson, guitarist Chris Jones, Darren Nicholson (mandolin) and bassist Nelson Williams (Chris Jones & the Night Drivers, New Dangerfield).
