“Leave It in the Hands of the Lord” was born out of a conversation between Darren Nicholson and co-writer Mark Bumgarner. The sentiment is simple and powerful; Let go and let God. Not only is Nicholson recalling is own past experience, he’s also talking about his future. He recently departed from award-winning Balsam Range after 15 years. “I’ve run my own life into the ground at times trying to be my own God,” confesses Nicholson. “It took a while, but I finally found strength in letting go and relying on God more.”
