In Only Getting Older, darthy revisits classic fairytale tropes to explore what growing up is really about. Led by “Wolf in a Wool Sweater”—inspired by Little Red Riding Hood—the EP pairs whimsical storytelling with ambitious indie-pop production. Wandering through dark woods and stepping past hidden traps, darthy moves with bright-eyed clarity, easily spotting wolves disguised as trendsetters. Ultimately, the EP proves that gaining maturity doesn’t require losing your sense of wonder.
Raised on the quiet shores of Delaware, darthy never expected her path to lead to Nashville. A life-changing moment during a concert in 2018 sparked years of wrestling and rediscovery until she moved to Tennessee in 2023 to pursue music full-time.
