“Why” is a reflection of relationships that are manipulative and ungodly. IsaiahLaRoi is open about his constant battle over a woman who is no longer his. She still lingers in his mind because of the trauma that he’s been through. Unanswered questions still persist. The track is titled “Why” because that is all that’s left after a failed relationship. Even if breaking off the relationship was for the best, a bitter taste is left in the mouth. “Thankfully, I am able to get past the situation, what was said and done. I look towards the future and to God,” says IsaiahLaRoi.

Isaiah La’Roi Liburd was born in Saint Martin, a tiny island split between the French and the Dutch. Moving to Florida at the age of five, Isaiah is thankful for how the two cultures blended perfectly. Formerly known as “Chosen,” IsaiahLaRoi has decided to use his real name as his career moves forward. The name IsaiahLaRoi captures the duality of his upbringing.
