“Between the Two of Us” is a happy song about the lasting love between two people and what you have to do to achieve that. There’s a sweet spot between straight ahead bluegrass and acoustic country, and few young singer/songwriters occupy that space more naturally than Jaelee Roberts. The ballad is another original that reveals further evidence, not just of her compelling vocals. She possesses an emotional range broad enough to encompass a sweet love song.
