Jaelee Roberts’ “Georgia Rain” paints a vivid picture of heartbreak. She wrote the song after experiencing her first breakup at 16. Interestingly, it was the melody that came to her first, then the lyrics. That’s not the normal songwriting process for her. Having rain be part of the scenario makes this heartbreak song even more lonesome and sad.
