SINGLE RELEASE

Laura Orshaw‘s second Dark Shadow Recording solo single is a slow-pickin’, fiddle-driven duet featuring the smooth, southern vocals of Trey Hensley. The song, a sad affair about a travelin’ guy/gal performing duo now reduced to one—a singing girl, “out here on her own.” And although “‘Tennessee Home’ ain’t much fun to sing alone,” she’s still at it, and paying her dues as a solo act from one honky tonk to the next. Note Orshaw’s lead fiddle-work on this track.
