The song starts with an old Datsun 280ZX commercial, a symbol of chasing quick highs that never last. Beneath the 80s-inspired sound is a deeper struggle: he’s running from his calling and stuck at a crossroads. He has a choice to go down a lonely, destructive road or turn to faith for real healing and purpose.

Musician and producer Myles Maestro fuses alternative instrumentation with emotional melodies for a dark and immersive experience. Maestro grew up playing multiple instruments and singing in choir, but began his career in 2018. He initially recorded under the name XPERT LEADER. Influenced by artists like Kurt Cobain, Bon Iver, and Mac Miller, his sound has evolved into an experimental, electronic style. Maestro continues to produce in North Dallas, with his 2019 single “Ghost” marking his debut as Myles Maestro.
