Maestro, Ace, and Shruumi originally wrote “Flood” for another group, but the band didn’t end up using it. Myles then took the concept of the song and rewrote it into an eerie ballad about temptations in his life. Maestro compares the lure of sin to the chains of addiction to drugs and alcohol. This song breaks down the dangerous train of thought that we all hitch a ride on at some point.

Musician/producer Myles Maestro fuses alternative instrumentation and emotional melodies for a dark, immersive experience. Maestro grew up playing multiple instruments and singing in choir, but began his career in 2018. He initially recorded under the name XPERT LEADER. Influenced by artists like Kurt Cobain, Bon Iver, and Mac Miller, his sound has evolved into an experimental, electronic style. Maestro continues to produce in North Dallas, with his 2019 single “Ghost” marking his debut as Myles Maestro.
