Myles Maestro and WHYNOT were in Maestro’s home studio sharing lyrics and ideas when WHYNOT shared a poem. He wrote it about lost love and the feeling of emptiness in the aftermath. This poem struck Maestro, and he quickly wrote the piano to accompany the words. Shruumi joined the project, and they recorded the vocals that day.

Musician/producer Myles Maestro fuses alternative instrumentation and emotional melodies for a dark, immersive experience. Maestro grew up playing multiple instruments and singing in choir, but began his career in 2018. He initially recorded under the name XPERT LEADER. Influenced by artists like Kurt Cobain, Bon Iver, and Mac Miller, his sound has evolved into an experimental, electronic style. Maestro continues to produce in North Dallas, with his 2019 single “Ghost” marking his debut as Myles Maestro.
