Nashville-based The Barefoot Movement teamed up with charity Soles for Souls for their covers-based project, Covers for a Cause. Kind-of going “hand-in-hand,” if you will, with the organizations’ namesakes, the Barefooters are donating proceeds from this project to this local organization which provides shoes for those in need. Previous recent releases have covered The Beatles and CCR and a gaelic medley from The Outlanders Series. “Killing Me Softly” was originally recorded by Roberta Flack in 1973 and describes the singing of Don McLean.
