Vickie’s loved this song since she was a kid, and wanted to add drama—make it darker and more desperate. Not just singing about Liza Jane, but crying out for her.

- Hailing from Western Kentucky, bassist/vocalist Vickie Vaughn fronts the progressive bluegrass ensemble "Vickie Vaughn Band".
- She has performed at DelFest and Grand Ole Opry as well as touring as a backup vocalist for Patty Loveless.
