Syntax Creative Clients Take 45 Nominations for the 35th Annual IBMA Awards
DESCRIPTION:
“Slayton Court” elegantly blends sweetness and melancholy while reflecting on life passages past and present. Slayton Court was Wayne Benson’s first address when he moved to Nashville, TN, in 1993. The song is inspired by that time when you first gain your independence. Fast forward all these years later, and now he has a 19-year-old son going through a similar season. The couple was making a slideshow to document those years and felt this melody would serve as a good background for it.
