It’s “Moving Day.” We zoom in on a black-and-white frame of a final farewell—two lovers who spent years together, sharing one last cigarette in the empty stairwell of a storage unit. There’s nothing left of their story but a stale, cardboard box. Povverchords’ moody, hypnotic heartbeat pulls you into the moment before building into a crashing crescendo. The track echoes the brittle, minimalist jam-rock palette of Khruangbin with the maximalist dissonance of Radiohead.
