ASHLEIGH GRAHAM
“Bless Your Little Heart”
DESCRIPTION:
“Bless Your Little Heart” was just an idea on a blank page in Ashleigh Graham’s song book. It had been there at least a couple of years without any lyrics before she crafted it into a song. It refers to a Southern saying that is often paired with less than praiseworthy remarks. For example, “He won’t mount to a hilla beans, bless his heart”. Or “Bless her heart, her cornbread ain’t done in the middle.” And the funny list goes on.
