When ‘Louise’ dies there’s grief but also a visceral awakening to a sense of collective guilt and responsibility for her death. This soul-stirring track hints at a certain kind of moral bankruptcy and a failure of timely compassion by those around her. The warm sympathetic vocals in this grassed up rendition make for a captivating ballad.
