Bobby Cyrus had a discussion about life sitting on his back porch with his dad. His reflections were like a movie unfolding in his mind with the way his father described it. He said the land had been a blessing to him but sometimes he thought about just loading up his old truck. He talked of maybe selling everything, trading it all in for a good pair of walking shoes and taking off on foot. Sadly, Cyrus’ dad passed away the next year.

- Both Bobby and Teddi Leigh come from small towns in Kentucky and share deep bluegrass roots.
- Teddi Leigh grew up singing and performing in her father's church. Later she went on to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry at 13 years old.
- Bobby also grew up surrounded by music in his family, which includes cousin Billy Ray. Now they have fused their talents and are sharing the music of their lives and hearts with the world.
