“Anti-Social” is the second release from C4 Crotona’s new EP Hideous and is a song about betrayal as a Christian. Scriptures say to forgive your brother (Matthew 6:14-15), but that doesn’t mean that it’s easy. A person may try to distance themselves while wrestling with the thought of betrayal and forgiveness. They may believe that it’s better to be alone than to associate with so called “friends.”
The Hideous EP speaks to the trials and season of life C4 Crotona is currently in. His music has always had an evangelistic approach. Calling out to the lost. But with this project he’s addressing the storms he’s been facing. From betrayal, to wanting to give up, he has sometimes felt like God doesn’t hear him. “Hideous” addresses the ugliness we as believers face.
