DANNY ROBERTS
“Leitchfield”
DESCRIPTION:
The name of Danny’s hometown, “Leitchfield”, is a lively instrumental that, much like the town’s roads, takes a few unexpected turns. When choosing a title for the track, Danny thought of his lifelong friend Jimmy Mattingly, who played fiddle on the recording. The memory took him back to their childhood, where they grew up on adjacent farms, went to school together, and played music side by side.
